In 1991 Days Inn started to attract new customers with a new slogan and way to gain popularity in a series of commercials. The result? The Rascals 60's hit It's A Beautiful Morning. There has been two commercials with this new slogan that have been found. The first one that was made was really funny with a grandma singing a parody of It's A Beautiful Morning with the following lyrics,
"It's a beautiful morning i'm gonna see my new granddaughter today"
"And she'll smile"
And as the grandma is singing she actually dances with merriment. The second commercial is virtually the same but a family with a kid singing and all the commercials end with the new slogan "It Begins With Us". Though I would've preferred the classic Oh, What A Beautiful Morning from the musical Oklahoma for these commercials rather than It's A Beautiful Morning for these commercials I think Days Inn was trying to regain popularity as a top motel chain in America but these commercials are funny to watch
