Of the many flashback episodes The Simpsons have made, none have drawn more ire than That 90s Show. For many, it was a shocking realization of how far the series’ floating timeline could stretch. Personally, I don’t think it invalidates the earlier flashbacks (so calling it a retcon in the title was a slight bluff on my end). But it was still a poor episode in its own right, telling a flimsy relationship crisis in an even flimsier setting. Care to see me piece it back together?
