I'm going to use the Three's Company (https://threescompany.fandom.com/wiki/Three%27s_Company_Wiki) subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/) as a point of reference and only select one episode (https://threescompany.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Three%27s_Company_episodes) per season (https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/search?orderBy=Date&reviewType=All&NReviews=50&adviceStart=&adviceEnd=&international=&searchText=three%27s%20company&searchType=advanced).

Season 8 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/07/28/the-ten-best-threes-company-episodes-of-season-eight/)

"The Heiress" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/12/threes-company-heiress.html) and "Cupid Works Overtime" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/12/threes-company-cupid-works-overtime.html) - I'm sure that people would immediately say that the two part series finale, "Friends and Lovers" (https://threescompany.fandom.com/wiki/Friends_and_Lovers:_Part_1) should be the worst (https://www.looper.com/843770/the-threes-company-finale-still-bothers-fans-to-this-day/), but the prior two episodes that I mentioned set up and laid the groundwork for "Friends and Lovers" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/12/threes-company-friends-and-lovers.html) in the first place.

Season 7 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/07/21/the-ten-best-threes-company-episodes-of-season-seven/)

"Bob and Carol and Larry and Terri" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/12/threes-company-bob-and-carol-and-larry.html)

Season 6 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/07/14/the-ten-best-threes-company-episodes-of-season-six/)

"Janet Wigs Out" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/11/threes-company-janet-wigs-out.html)

Season 5 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/07/07/the-ten-best-threes-company-episodes-of-season-five/)

"Jack's Other Mother" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/10/threes-company-jacks-other-mother.html)

Season 4 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/06/30/the-ten-best-threes-company-episodes-of-season-four/)

"Old Folks at Home" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/08/threes-company-old-folks-at-home.html)

Season 3 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/06/23/the-ten-best-threes-company-episodes-of-season-three/)

"Chrissy and the Guru" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/07/threes-company-chrissy-and-guru.html)

Season 2 (https://jacksonupperco.com/2015/06/16/the-twelve-best-threes-company-episodes-of-seasons-one-two/)

"Jack's Navy Pal" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/06/threes-company-jacks-navy-pal.html)

Season 1 (https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/8262/threes-company-season-one/)

"It's Only Money" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/06/threes-company-its-only-money.html)

None of these are the worst episode IMHO. Janet Wigs Out is one of the worst ones though because the script is so bad it has to transform one of the characters into something they are not. My worst episodes are:

Look what I found - a rehash of season 1 episode
Janet Wigs Out - Janet turns into a sex vixen over a wig
Hair Today Gone tomorrow - Terri falls for Jack over a fake mustache
A Night Not To Remember - Jack is a jerk and a drunk, so out of character
Jack's Tattoo

My list for the weakest episode for each season. Some are not that bad...

season 1 "It's Only Money"
season 2 "Helen's Job"
season 3 "Triange Troubles"
season 4, "Secret Admirer"
season 5 "And Justice for Jack"
season 6 "Stranger's in the Night"
season 7 "The Apartment"
season 8 "Like Father, Like Son"

I've watched every episode of Three's Company at least 100 times each, over the last few decades. The only episode I never rewatch is season 8 "Like Father, Like Son". I don't find it funny at all.

Like Father Like son was going to be on that I listed too. I found his dad annoying. I also hate the Apartment too.
But I love Helen's job
:)

Season 2 was a very strong season so there were a lot of good episodes. "Helen's Job" was an ok episode, but I felt the others were a little better.

I liked episodes that featured lots of Ropers. I think Helen's Rendezvous is hysterical and showcases Helen in slapstick comedy. When Helen runs to the bathroom to hide and peers out through the shower curtain at Stanley still makes me laugh out loud to this day and I've seen it a million times.
This is what made the show stay fresh. The lead in the scripts were not favored to any actor. The Ropers got a fair shot at being the center while everyone else played hysterical supporting roles.
The Days of weeds and beer is another example. The ending of that episode when Stanley throws a blob on Helen's flower arrangement is so freaking funny.

The worst of all is obviously "Bob and Carol, and Larry and Terri", a real sorry excuse to implement the misunderstandings of the show to force upon the viewer two no-name neighbors that lived in the same apartment building that we never saw before or heard from again.

My next runner up is any of the episodes that had Chrissy's father the reverend as a guest star.

I apologize to everyone for misunderstanding the thread. You were supposed to pick the worst episode from each season. I read these boards at 5 am so please excuse me.
I will have to get back with mine. I already listed my least favorites of the entire series.

Yes, my least favorite episodes of any sitcom is when they make the characters we know and take them way out of their personality to create almost a new character for laughs.
Making Janet be a sex vixen over a wig was stupid. Janet would never do that and was the straight common sense one. Terri falling for a fake moustache was so insulting to her character.

I was shocked that this was Jenilee Harrison last episode. She was hilarious doing the "wist watch" routine at the Regal Beagle. The audience was howling with laughter.

It was the only good part of the episode.

I like Home Movies because we get to see Janet in a swimsuit.

I think the worst episode is Like Father Like Son.
That stupid song they do is really annoying.

I like Home Movies too. It was so freaking cutting edge for a sitcom to be discussing a porno movie and getting ready to watch it. It was 1977 or something. Unheard of at that time.

Maybe I'm a tad bit out of the loop, what why exactly are the "Old Folks at Home" and "Jack's Other Mother" (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1tacl8s/jacks_other_mother_episode/) episodes apparently so disliked? Incidentally, both episodes involve Jack having to deal with an intrusive elderly person in the apartment. In particular, it seems like viewers have a real axe to grind (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/threes-company.2541705/post-90018641) with the Leo (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1tmy6el/why_the_hell_was_old_man_leo_not_sleeping_on_the/) character from the "Old Folks at Home" (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/vvyg30/old_folks_at_home/) episode.

Strange because I sort of agree with this list. IMHO seasons 1-3 cannot do any wrong but something about Jack's Navy pal irks me to not want to watch it. It actually starts out really funny with the Ropers in their apartment. Something about them letting this guy destroy the apartment gets on my nerves. Its a rarity that I dont like an episode from that season.
The Bob and Carol show was just dumb. Anytime a sitcom introduces characters where its implied we know them rarely works. Although I would probably pick "A Night Not To Remember" before this one for season 7. Anytime the writers take a character and make them someone else ruins it for me. In this episode Jack is a mean drunk. I dont care for Janet wigs out. Janet becomes a slutty blonde because of a wig? Only to be outdone by Terri falling in love with Jack over a plastic mustache. Seriously!

I can completely get and understand why people don't like (https://share.google/aimode/LKJsUTd6SeS6545Cm) the "Jack's Navy Pal" (https://reviewingeverytvshowiown.blogspot.com/2016/06/threes-company-jacks-navy-pal.html) episode because Jim Walsh (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1rc1x6h/say_something_nice_about_jim_walsh/), the blind guy who served in the Navy with Jack, gets no (https://www.google.com/search?q=Why+is+the+%22Three%27s+Company%22+episode+from+Season+2%2C+%22Jack%27s+Navy+Pal%22+so+disliked%3F&sca_esv=b2bc03eec3ac8049&biw=1235&bih=547&sxsrf=APpeQnsdZ5pC6PAqZx5dKAkR27d3rZrTSA%3A1782531811987&ei=40Y_apXYO-KBm9cP4OG5gAY&ved=0ahUKEwjV1dC7wKaVAxXiwOYEHeBwDmAQ4dUDCBI&uact=5&oq=Why+is+the+%22Three%27s+Company%22+episode+from+Season+2%2C+%22Jack%27s+Navy+Pal%22+so+disliked%3F&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiUldoeSBpcyB0aGUgIlRocmVlJ3MgQ29tcGFueSIgZXBpc29kZSBmcm9tIFNlYXNvbiAyLCAiSmFjaydzIE5hdnkgUGFsIiBzbyBkaXNsaWtlZD9It7cBUPYDWKiiAXAHeAGQAQCYAXegAaguqgEFNTguMTG4AQPIAQD4AQGYAiKgAsoYwgIKEAAYRxjWBBiwA8ICBxAjGLACGCfCAgcQLhiABBgNwgIIEAAYBRgeGA3CAggQABgIGB4YDcICBRAAGO8FwgIWEC4YgAQYDRiXBRjcBBjeBBjgBNgBAcICChAhGAoYoAEYwwTCAggQIRigARjDBMICCBAAGIkFGKIEwgIIEAAYgAQYogTCAgQQIRgKmAMAiAYBkAYEugYGCAEQARgUkgcEMjUuOaAHzOIBsgcEMjQuObgHxhjCBwcwLjIxLjEzyAdZgAgB&sclient=gws-wiz-serp) comeuppance (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1uem2fv/characters_you_hated_that_got_no_comwuppance/) despite the fact that he acted like a complete and unapologetic jerka** (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1qm42yg/poll_which_david_dukes_character_was_more/) the entire episode. I don't know if Walsh (https://share.google/aimode/fZlR90vhv8mgYNCMG) was allowed to get away with his behavior because in the writers and producers' mind, him being blind is "punishment enough". But even with his blindness, Walsh nonetheless, uses his disability to manipulate Jack and those around him. I also don't know if this was Three's Company's attempt at doing something along the lines of a dark comedy but that is absolutely what a show like Three's Company normally isn't about.

And not "weird" in a bizarrely funny kind of way like the episode from Season 5 where Jack has to trick Mr. Furley into thinking that he has an identical twin brother named Austin. Why exactly would Janet suddenly act conceited (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1uj15hm/comment/ouk91lt/) and completely out of character just for putting on that blonde wig?

Also, why would Janet suddenly want to be a blonde in the first place. It's not at all like she was previously envious of other women who happened to sport blonde hair like Chrissy, Cindy, and Terri. Is Janet that desperate to find a man that she'll go out of her way to make a complete and utter fool out of herself to hopefully achieve that goal? Again, as others have pointed out, the whole "Janet Wigs Out" (https://share.google/aimode/CoLi8t7w5hLUdJn9s) episode ultimately came across as if Janet was having an existential crisis (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1uj15hm/comment/oulh951/) instead of being an actually funny storyline.

That episode really is a timestamp on sitcoms. The baby is so fake and the baby crying is a man trying to sound like a baby. Like they could not use a recording of a real baby crying? When Suzanne first meets "the baby" in his room with his mother the "baby" is standing up almost a toddler in a play pen. The next scene he is an infant wrapped in a blanket

My list for the weakest episode for each season. Some are not that bad...

season 1 "It's Only Money"
season 2 "Helen's Job"
season 3 "Triange Troubles"
season 4, "Secret Admirer"
season 5 "And Justice for Jack"
season 6 "Stranger's in the Night"
season 7 "The Apartment"
season 8 "Like Father, Like Son"

I've watched every episode of Three's Company at least 100 times each, over the last few decades. The only episode I never rewatch is season 8 "Like Father, Like Son". I don't find it funny at all.

I love “Helen’s Job” - but they should have stayed out of Helen’s life, though.

The one episode I never watch is the one with Janet’s sister. Janet was a monster in that episode and I never would have forgiven her if I were Jack.
