The X-Files promised us that the truth is out there; unfortunately, what is not out there is an X-Files animated series, a cartoon version of one of the biggest shows of the 1990s. Rumours have circulated for years of a comic animated spin-off of the X-Files but so far nothing has materialised, but I want to believe that something is out there. Trust no one, except me to bring you a comprehensive history of animated renditions of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, as well as a list of suggestions of Saturday morning cartoons from the 1990s which I think were the closest we got to an X-Files animated series.
