I've always wondered how Anthony Thompkins, who had a recurring role on Diff'rent Strokes as Willis' buddy Vernon during the first two seasons, is doing these days. According to his profile on IMdb (Internet Movie Database), Thompkins' last credit was in 2010.

It's equally unfortunate that Vernon (or Thompkins) didn't appear again--his final appearance was in the Strokes/Facts Of Life crossover episode "Slumber Party" in season two--for the remainder of Strokes' (over)long, eight-season run...it would've been interesting to see both Vernon and Willis vie for the attention and affection of the lovely Charlene DuPrey (Janet Jackson) in later seasons as they entered high school.
