If the Power Rangers always defeat the monster with the Megazord, why don’t they bring in their Zords immediately? The answer has to do with Zordon.

There's 2 episodes in the original series that I can remember of where they call upon the Zords almost right away without a monster growing in size. The 2nd episode of the Green Ranger arc where the other 4 rangers actually do call upon the Megazord without a monster to battle and then the T-Rex Dinozord and Dragonzord are summoned during the Pirantishead fight even though he wasnt made to grow.
