The shows I really want on TVLand right now are Dallas(1978-91, CBS), Three's Company (1977-84, ABC), Alice (1976-85, CBS), What's Happening!!! (1976-79, ABC), One Day at a Time (1975-84, CBS), Dynasty (1981-89, ABC), Falcon Crest (1981-90, CBS), and Knots Landing (1979-93, CBS).

There's not really many.I mean "Tabitha" is good enough! LOL! Possibly "Oh Baby" and "Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice" (A Robert Urich Power Block prehaps with episodes of Tabitha,B&C&T&A and The Love Boat:The Next Wave?)

I'd say "Townies" but I think it has a better chance of airing on WE....

I think TC, ODaaT, Dallas, and Knots would be great shows for TV Land. Along with Night Court.

I think there should be a 80's TV Land network that is basically only for any sitcom that DEBUTED or predominately aired in the 80's.

Shows like:

ALF
Charles In Charge
The Cosby Show
Roseanne
Saved By The Bell
Who's The Boss?
Cheers
Facts Of Life
Family Ties
Growing Pains
Small Wonder
Silver Spoons
Golden Girls
Mr. Belvedere
Webster

and so many more!

Great minds think alike, except I don't want Three's Company.

They could also add Good Times, Green Acres, The Addams Family and Mr. Ed.

If they would just add any one of these, I would be happy. If they added Dallas, I would be forever grateful.

The Love Boat seasons 6-9.
To prove that I'm not just a fan of The Love Boat and nothing else, I'd add--
Benson, Alice, Night Court, Trapper John MD, CHIPS, Fantasy Island, That Girl, Silver Spoons, Perfect Strangers, TJ Hooker.

Those are just picks off the top of my head. If I thought about it, I'm sure there'd be tons more. I'd add a children's block of shows like Captain Kangaroo, Land of The Lost, and shows like that.

Definitely - "The Carol Burnett Show". It BELONGS on TV Land. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think the people in charge of TV Land must be early 20-somethings. I mean we have seen enough of "The Brady Bunch".

I personally think TV Land and Nick at Nite need *major* overhauls. Have shows air only *once* a day (unless it's late night, then it may get another airing, if there's room.) I've come up with COUNTLESS dream schedules in my spare time, much better than what TVL offers. But anyway, here is my LONG list.

Oh, I also think TV Land should have their own group of channels (like HBO, Showtime, etc, LOL) they could be:
The Original TV Land (a mix of comedy, drama, westerns, action/adventure shows)
TV Land: Better Living (Classic 40/50s programming and variety programs)
TV Land: Classics (Shows from the 60s and early-mid 70s of all genres)
and of course
Nick @ Nite (80s programming; EARLY 80s)

I think whoever ran N@N and TVL in the early days really needs to come back (if there were different people before the current people).

I really can't do lists, because of my "ideas" above, but I'll say this, I agree with all of you on the show selections.

And as much as I love Dallas, I highly doubt it will ever come to TV Land; SOAPnet is probably where it's heading next (whenever TNN/Viacom loses the rights).
