I'm not sure what episodes or season it is, but at some point Kramer starts getting the big sitcom round of applause every time he does his big entry into Jerry's apartment, that thing that happens with big characters on shows, when they make their 1st screen appearence and the audience commences obligitory cheering & hooting.
Apparently, the powers that be didn't dig it and put a stop to it. They didn't want that whole thing to get started.

That's pretty cool (that they stopped it).
So watch when Kramer does his entries, occasionally you'll hear the big audience roar. Most of the time you won't.

Ohh I know what you mean. That is one thing I hated about Married with Children all the men hollering.

I've read about this before and it sounded like the producers were getting tired of all the applause when Kramer would burst into Jerry's apartment. I love Kramer, but the endless applause did get annoying. Plus, it's not really fair to the rest of the cast. But I still love the show anyway! How could anyone not like it?;)

Somewhere on the dvd Richards talks about the applause killing the timing of the show. While everybody is clapping nobody can say a line so they have to stand there and wait for it to end.
