Former Disney Star Skai Jackson Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Battery at Universal Studios

Former Disney star Skai Jackson is facing a potential misdemeanor charge after being arrested on suspicion of spousal battery.
On Friday at around 5:10 p.m., police responded to a domestic incident at Universal Studios Hollywood involving Jackson, 22, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed to Entertainment Weekly.
Upon arrival, officers claimed Jackson was the "primary aggressor" and arrested her on suspicion of domestic battery.
The actress was subsequently released hours after her arrest. The case has since been passed to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, to determine if charges are warranted.
Representatives for the DA’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A representative for Jackson did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
Jackson has since kept busy as the voice of Glory Grant in Disney’s animated "Marvel Rising" series, and she participated in the 2020 season of "Dancing With the Stars".
She has also penned a memoir, 2019’s Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower and Clapback.
