Does anyone here remember the sitcom "High Society" with Jean Smart and Faith Prince??? It was a cross between Designing Women, Three's Company, and Absolutely Fabulous...and was EXCELLENT. As I remember, it was about this ditzy real estate agent who ends up moving in with a few of her female clients, who are best friends, and the joke was that the others would basically just keep away from the agent because she was such a klutz. At least that's what a remember about it. It got GREAt reviews, and a few emmy nominations, but I guess that the ratings were awful, and it was #4 in it's timeslot, and in average like ended up in the 50's. Too bad, it was quite good.

I remember it. I also remember that ABC and CBS were both scrambling to put out similar AbFab clone shows. CBS won the battle by debuting High Society first. However, because High Society was a flop, ABC scrapped their ripoff show.

As a MAJOR fan and friend of Faith Prince, she told me that she yearned to be back on Broadway, because she HATED the way that the television business treated her, after she filed 3 unaired pilots for a TV series after she won the tony award. She told me that the producers bribed her with money to star on their show.

How do you know all these famous people?

I live in New York City....only a few blocks from Broadway....so I see them just walking around or something...most of the time at a show. I see 2 or 3 a week...with the exception of this week...only 1.
