Hi Everyone,

I'm curious to know if there's a free-of-charge way I can stream Catchy Comedy without having to pay for it?

I mean, I know there are paying options like Philo and such, but as noted those are PAYING Options. I mean FREE Options.

The reason I ask is because I want to record all the "Happy Days" episodes NOT on DVD because at least Catchy Comedy shows those episodes sourced from the original ABC Television Network Prints when it airs them weekdays at 2:30 P.M. ET

Before I forget to mention, I regretably DO NOT have Catchy Comedy in the Savannah, GA area, hence the question.

Thanks in advance anyways.

I used to livestream this station for free when it was called Decades. I am assuming that option is still there, don't remember the site and it probably changed with the rebrand. But I stopped livestreaming a few years ago, signal was too weak and kept getting interrupted.

I don’t believe there is a way to stream it for free. Even if there was, you are going to be out of luck with Happy Days unfortunately. There is a very limited number of Happy Days episodes they have rights to stream because of these dumb music licensing issues. When they first added Happy Days to the schedule, the episodes on the streaming version were not the same ones shown over the air because they don’t have rights to stream most of them. It got to the point that they were just repeating so many of the same episodes, they took it off the streaming schedule and replaced it with Love American Style. Even when they would have a Happy Days binge marathon on a weekend, the episodes shown on the streaming version were not the same as over the air. The streaming one was so limited they would show the same episodes twice within the weekend and some even got repeated a third time. I just with there was a way Paramount could work it out to get all episodes available on streaming. It seems the majority of the episodes that are streaming are from Seasons 2, 5, and 6, as I believe they are the same versions from the DVDs that had lots of music replacements. A very small number (less than 10 per season) of episodes from seasons 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 are on there too. No Season 1 episodes are available on streaming. This is the same situation with Happy Days on Pluto TV.

I don't think there is a free streaming option. Now Frndly cheapest offer is $8.00 a month on a monthly payment and cheaper if you pay for a full year. Lots of great channels.

I appreciate all the help, guys. Thanks. I guess I'll wait 26 more days til MeTV adds "Happy Days" to its Sunday Morning lineup. Hopefully when the episodes NOT on DVD appear on MeTV (eventually) I'll be able to record them.

I don’t have a Catchy station over the air where I live either so I get mine through Frndly. It’s great for the most part, but with Happy Days you definitely get the short end of the stick.
