Well, I'm soon to be 86 and NEVER had a bible in my life. I don't believe I'm alone on this one.

Yes I think so too, so many billions of people worldwide and so many different teachings of the god and jesus things, and then there is Jevoha...the catholic life I followed for my first 30 yrs had prayer books, what the Big Book the priest read from at the mass, I don['t know what book it was.....what readings the today's
catholics use, I don't know and kinda wonder.... But I'm thinking about the same stuff as when I followed that church...



My grandson got a heavy indoctrination into the Protesteant teachings at Pepperdine College and says he's wanting to be a friend of Jesus....He knows about my path, but he's on his own path. College teachers have major influence on students.

Should be start placing bets when this thread will turn into a war zone and get closed down?:lol::D

Bonnie, don't plant seeds on a war zone issue, it's talk and discussion, no one is pushing and shoving stuff on others...don't start.....

These life issues sure beat talking about what "are you wearing", what are you eating, how many tabs open......get the Drift????

When the time comes, God will judge a person by what they have done-not whom they believe in or what religion they belong too.

Maybe that is a wrong question to ask as you are attributing and blaming God for human's body physical decline and we're expecting God to fix it. My thought on this is that maybe God doesn't like to interfere with natural flow of life and its progression. I mean if God went around and cured everybody's ailments, then we wouldn't have modern medicine and procedures we have today.

But on the lighter side, I do believe in miracles as I'm sure everybody have witness miracles in their lives on a personal level :)

We will end this for now as we disagree on a lot, for many of us including mMyself, the modern meds and procedure I did put me in this place, where I'd love to see a God doing some fixing on this body.....and on Miracles, they can happen and often we can call them coincidences.....

My poor daughter is so messed up as she took lab drugs from a doc some yrs ago...long story....

For those who have salvation in Jesus Christ, we will receive new bodies in heaven with no disease, pain, sickness, or natural effects of aging (eternal life). But while we live on a fallen earth where everyone is a sinner, disease will always be a part of it.

I know that I'm a true living, breathing, MIRACLE! :)

Everything that has happened to me, GOD has pulled me back UP.
This I do know! :)

In the last 25 years I have had a lot of hospital stays and I
have had numerous doctors tell me,
"That I'm LUCKY to be alive" ...
My response is
"No I'm not", but "I'm definitely BLESSED!"

Some day I might post about my experiences (which are many)

All the prayers that have been sent for ME and my strong FAITH IN GOD
has kept me positive through it all!!
