I see that Adam 12 has replaced The Flintstones at 6:30am. I wonder if they're dropping most if not all cartoons on their schedule.

Good to see I Love Lucy back on METV. Any programming news for Halloween and Christmas?

Good shows in the morning but not the best time. Would have been better at night. Still the same lame weekday lineup.

Looks like all the cartoons are being phased out of the channel besides Toon in with ME and the Saturday Morning Cartoons block which still does great ratings for the channel.

I like the return of Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. Interesting to move the Brady Bunch up to 10am while it was at the 12 noon timeslot forever on Sundays.

Still not enough. We need schedule changes during Mon - Fri .

Some very interesting changes to September.

I was hoping they would do a Bob Newhart hour. With The Bob Newhart Show & than Newhart. I know Catchy Comedy does this but it would have been great to see this also on Me TV! Hopefully it will be apart of A Very Merry Me TV.

Speaking of A Very Merry Me TV Looking forward on seeing the times & dates of my Favorite Christmas episodes. As i haven’t caught a Christmas episode since Christmas of 2023.

The Bob Newhart Show has been on MeTV before (I remember they had some weird setup where they didn't show season six for quite awhile), but never Newhart. Newhart might do well.

I think the main problem with shows like Newhart and Cheers, was both shows underwent some important casting changes between the first few seasons that ended up being an improvement. The show is better starting with the 3rd season, after they already replaced Kirk/ Leslie for Michael / Stephanie and made Larry Darryl & Darryl regulars.

Those were excellent--and needed--casting changes . Also, Newhart's idea to change from videotape to film was a great idea.

Especially since it meant that his episodes can be in HD.

one of the few reasons I watch MetV is "The Flintstones". Some other channel must have bought the rights.

MeTv Toons has to be a bust. I can rarely get it and when I do, it constant Bugs Bunny.

MeTv is a mess. That guy running the cartoons in the morning is trying to transition into a talk-show. I feel for him because I cannot imagine coming up with an hour show every morning.

MeTV and MeTV Toons are both owned by Weigel. Weigel also owns MeTV+, Catchy, Start TV, H&I, Dabl, and Story TV, so theoretically they could air the Flintstones on any of those stations if they wanted, though obviously they wouldn’t because it doesn’t fit the format of most of those. They dropped it from the main MeTV because now that they have MeTV Toons they can show it there where it’s a better fit.

At least MeTV’s upcoming Autumn schedule was better 10 years ago, 8 years ago, 5 years ago and last year respectively before MeTV Toons debuted back in June.

It's really odd how, a little over a month after MeTV Toons debuted, suddenly The Flintstones and The Jetsons have to be dumped off MeTV. Totally.

Obviously The Flintstones was a flop at 6:30 am ET, but Sunday morning? That two hour block has been in place for a few years.

And, The Flintstones--even My Three Sons--were better lead-ins to Toon In with Me, than Adam-12.

And what a thoughtful add at noon on Sunday! More Andy. They sure don't show that enough!

Here is a thought do you think Me TV should be renamed and given a Fresh NEW Classic TV Schedule & offer Fresh New Promos, Just like when Decades became Catchy Comedy?

On a side note I think it would also be neat if 12/26 thru 12/31 Me TV & Catchy Comedy came together and had a Classic TV Countdown just like NICK at NITE did in the late 80’s & early 90’s.

You know what MeTV's answer would be: "We consistently beat several cable channels in the ratings, including Nick at Nite and TV Land, and we're not even primarily a cable channel. So we're not gonna mess with success."

But I think it's a good idea, particularly freshening up the promos.

11AM: Happy Days (replaces The Flintstones)

Math question. At a once a week pace how long would they have to run it to get through the entire series?

MikeLutton

that going to take a heck of a long time considering it been on for 11 years it schould be 5 days a week not 1 day a week

Not a fan of making cartoons exclusive to one channel. Cartoon Network did that with Looney Tunes in the late 90's / early 2000's. It almost led to the cartoons completely being forgotten by the general public and also crippled the animation industry.

I Love Lucy could also be a good lead in for Toon In With ME. Afraid the other classic shows won't work in the Sunday morning block and METV will just be lazy and replaced the shows with even more MASH
and TAGS.

They are using those two shows too much as a crutch and it is going to end up biting them on down the road. They better figure out how to better balance programming classic shows and more variety and soon.

Someone outside of Weigel group bought it. MeTV will eventually have to move into the years (which for them is the 90's). I've said before. I'd start with "Early Edition" and go from there.

I'll give "MeVe Toons" another 6 months before they shut it down.

Say it again, MeTV lives or dies by Svengoolie. Morning guy will burn out. I'm not a fan but I can see he is trying to convert it into a talk-show. I can't imagine trying to come up with an hour show every day.

People who reference "Antenna TV" .. "Antenna TV" is an infomercial backed up by a TV show. You can get every show on Antenna TV on the web for free. l wish I had thought of it first.

Which is crazy. Why even bother showing it if you’re only going to show one episode a week? I don’t see any point in that.

Look.......Son METV Toons has just launched they are not going to shut down in 6 months over the say so of one viewer who isn't satisfied with it's programming. This is reality

I can't believe MeTV makes their programming decisions based on ratings, Crazy! Svengoolie does great numbers and I'm sure they spend a ton licensing movies for him and there is only so much they can run. M*A*S*H is just uber-popular. Going to have to live with it. I'm sure it'll leave at some point. Their license for it may even be pre-Disney still.
