so how do u feel about dances. How do you feel about girls who roll their shirts up to their chrsts to expost their entire midriff as three of them grinds the same guy into the wall. how do you feel about sweaty hot dances that are so crowded people pass out from heat and the walls are covered in sweat? How do you feel about entering a dance with makeup and your clothes perfect and walk out dripping wet (a miz of your sweat, others sweat, and water that flew around) with makeup running down your face as ambulences take away those who have passed out fro heat, alcohol, and drug ODs?.........

I loved it. I cant wait for the next one. the one thing that bothered me though was i litterally got stuck between two guys twice my size. and one guy whipped his head around and sprayed sweat with me. I swear it was the most fukked dance ever. looked like it belonged in a britney video. it was fun though.

Dances are great. They get me away from the house for a longer period of time. Plus, there's food, friends, and.....yeah.....I've lost my train of thought (not that I had it to begin with...)

I hate em. Especially formal ones. You wear an uncomfortable dress, shoes that hurt, hair up and perfect that evetually falls out, about a pound of crap on your face, and people snap away their cameras and you while you pretend to have fun and pretend to be happy when all you wanna do is go sit in the corner and be depressed.

I've been to a few school dances... but I don't exactly "Dance" I just stay in the back where all the beverages and foods are and gobble myself silly. :liplick:

Ahaha our dances are soap operas. All my friends and I dance our asses off and then someone gets up cos they don't have a boyfriend and go off crying and we have to carry them to Friendly's cos they're crying so hard. I actually gave Alex a piggy back once cos she was crying so hard.

hah...omg our school is like so strict at dances its no fun....If anyone did one of those things you mentioned they would be exspelled from the school, ugh there really strict about the girls clothes...or there not even allowed in to the dance...

I hate dances I went to one out of all my school years and hated them. Plus I can't dance.

I never went to any school dances. I would just have been miserable at them so I always stayed at home.
You were expected to turn up to the dance with someone and since the fact that I was always single was such a big joke amongst my peers I wasn't about to turn up at a big dance on my own.
If you weren't going out with someone it was perfectly acceptable to arrive at the dance with a group of friends but I didn't want to take this approach either. There would have been no point as, by the end of the evening, all my friends would have gone off with some guys and I'd just be left sitting in the corner on my own.
Emotional damage issues aside, I also didn't want to go to dances cos the girls were expected to wear dresses and make up and sh#t and there is no way in hell I'm gonna wear a dress for anybody!!

I just had one at my middle school thispast Friday I lvoed it it was sooooooooooo fun, so yeah I LOVE school dances

Although sometimes I WILL go, but it's only because my teachers asked me to help out at the door like taking tickets, etc.

Yeah, I've noticed you and I seem to have quite a bit in common. The only difference being I am now free of the horror of my school days. You're still struggling through them.

our school dances are good and sometimes they suck, the music
sucks, once in awhile they will play something good.

I loved dances in middle school- they were so cool- you could hang out with your friends, dance, flirt, drink punch, just hang out. ahhh, i loved those.
I hate high school dances- especially homecoming since if your in the court you are forced to have an "escort". And like no one comes and you're in the minority if you go without the intention on hooking up before the night is over. It seems every high school dance I go to I get in a huge fight with someone or my date turns out to be a total jerk.
Prep school dances are fun and I go to some mixers at a military academy around here. The only problem with those is the catholic school ("villa girls") all come and its just like you said- shirts rolled up grinding with like five guys. As my friend and I once decided at one of those dances- do the nuns teach them all to be sluts??? Its still fun though if you can get rid of the villa girls- and the invitational dances there are great because none of them stay with the same guy long enough to get invitations. lol

yeah, I loved Middle School dances too! I don't like the high school
ones nearly as much, my first year in high school everyone was like oh the dances are much better than the ones at middle school!...not really!

well.... with my First homecoming ( last night) being in mind is hafta say i miss our middle school sock hops.

I'm don't really like going to dances but once in a while I might go to one. I also agree that the middle school dances where better than the high school ones.

school dances r fun in 8th grade on my halloween one me and my friend paulette were moshing and we benged together and my chin it off her head and i had a big blak and blue welt on my lip for a week and paulette claims i bit her head

another one last year me my friends abby and paulette went around and asked everybody for a dollar and at the end of the night we had 17 dollars

under 21 dances r soo much better in glassport because u can smoke and leave to go play chicken at the railroad tracks one time i went in all high and there was a weed sniffing dog and i had to "roll out"

Never in the history of my school, have we ever had a dance. We're actually getting a Prom this year, but it can't be connected with our school, because my school is stupid and thinks dancing is the devil. I don't think I wanna go though. No one will ask me to go, except one guy that has a big crush on me and I hate him so I'm not going with him. He's loud and obnoxious. I know mom will want me to go, but I don't know if I can go through with it. What's the point, anyways...it's not going to be in the yearbook and it's not going to help me in life. I can't put on my resume..."Went to sophomore/junior/senior prom in 2003." I hate dances.

Yeah, We had a teacher that would actually go around with a
ruler and stick it between you and say your too close! never
