Since all the characters were supposed to go to different colleges at the end of the High School years. But at the beginning of College years: Zack, Slater, Screech and Kelly all go to fictional CalU. Makes me wonder was College Years always in the works when the wrapped up the High School years.

It is a good question because before the kids graduated high school, I remember Slater getting an offer from a school in Iowa and during the graduation episode, Zack said that he was going to "pop down from Yale" and with Screech being as smart as he was, any school would've wanted him. I remember Kelly saying during one episode that she was going to go to a community college and get a job.
