Listen carefully I will say this only once:
Anybody else love this show? No one else has ever made WW2 as funny as the cast of this show. This is possibly the funniest TV show I have ever seen!:happyface

:wave: "good mo'ning" as one character used to say. i saw the show a lot of times. it used to air on my PBS station on Sunday nights at 11pm right after "Good Neighbors" and before "Yes, Prime Minister". i didn't get many of the jokes but i always laughed at the woman in the trench coat uttering the line you opened up with; and the General and his underlings were a riot. i didn't like the two onion seller characters that well. i also could never understand why the producers made the leading character adulterous!? i loved the show but as i stated, most of their jokes went over my head.

I thought it was ok at best.

I thought it was a roit. I still watch it. Its an aquired taste.
I loved Renee's come back when got caught with the women.
