The rights probably expire at the end of September and GSN decided not to renew them. $25,000 Pyramid will be replaced with a 2nd hour of Deal or No Deal (talk about a really dumb show replacing a smart one :rolleyes:), and Card Sharks will be replaced with a 2nd morning hour of Match Game. Match Game also remains in the 1PM hour, so will be airing 3 hours a day. No other changes to the weekday lineup at this time. Pyramid ratings probably slipped some with constantly airing the same season, but there are surely other seasons GSN could have gotten they haven't aired at all or recently, they could also have brought back $100,000 Pyramid after a few years off. I am not a Card Sharks fan but its removal makes Match Game the only show left on the lineup that originally aired in the 20th century. (Wheel of Fortune does air but the seasons they have are from the last decade). These changes start October 1, there are still 3 days left with $25,000 Pyramid and Card Sharks getting their morning hour this week. And yes, a lot of you prefer Buzzr but I doubt Fort Wayne is ever lucky enough to get an affiliate.

I haven't heard anything about this since I watch GSN during the weekend when Cash Cab airs it's Saturday morning reruns and you're not the only one that's gonna miss Card Sharks and The $25,000 Pyramid because people have complained about this and it appears that GSN is planning to improve it's morning lineup and I am shocked that they put their good shows in the morning at an early time at 6AM PT and I would enjoy it if Cash Cab was shown every weekday morning because I have seen every Catch 21 episode ever made except for Season 1 and Cash Cab reruns would be better than Catch 21. I still wonder if GSN will still air Card Sharks and $25,000 Pyramid on the weekend lineup or it will be gone from weekends too as well
It's sad when your favorite game show is no longer shown and maybe you should try to find another morning game show to enjoy. That's why I started watching Millionaire in the mornings in April of last year when GSN stopped airing Catch 21

Card Sharks and $25,000 Pyramid are also gone from the weekend lineup and replacing Card Sharks and $25,000 Pyramid will be reruns of Caroline And Friends. Also interesting to know is that America Says will replace one of the weekend reruns of Family Feud but Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Cash Cab will remain at their regular weekend times

If Only GSN kept Card Sharks on then the episodes from January 25th, 1988 to July/August 1988 would've been aired. Too Bad, it and $25,000 Pyramid are off from GSN's schedule now.
