I was watching "Match Game's" final episode since I taped off of GSN last year as part of a 30-episode marathon, Gene Rayburn came up with a clue to the contestant and the audience. The clue was "Jesse _______". I came up with an answer "Jesse Katsopolis", and then Gene gave the contestant an answer that he/she came up was "Jesse James" and then Skip Stevenson got a match and I was stunned that Jesse Katsopolis wasn't around before "Full House" debuted in 1987. That was five year later. Jesse Katsopolis was not a correct answer. It was from 1982.

Speaking of the final "Match Game" episode, there was an episode from the 1975 edition of "Match Game" (I know it's a bit off-topic) that Gene Rayburn reads the question to the panelists, "Jacques the whale said (in echo), 'I didn't have a TV set to watch the whale on. Instead of watching TV, all I have to get is _________!'" My response came up with an answer that it was "Full House". Gene gave a contestant an answer he/she said is "Flipper". The six panelists had no match includes the one that doesn't match is the following, "Match Game", "Sea Coast" and "Jacques Costeau". I was wrong again that "Full House" wasn't even around until the show premiered in 1987.

Ok, think about this for a minute: WHY would "Jesse Katsopolis" be an answer if the show wasn't even out yet?!

As for my opinion, Gene Rayburn answered "Jesse ________" on the last episode of "Match Game" from 1982. That wasn't around until "Full House" debuted about 5 years later in 1987 with John Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis. Prior to "Match Game's" final episode, John Stamos used to be on "General Hospital" before he played Uncle Jesse.

Exactly. It couldn't have possibly been an answer if the show wasn't even out at the time.
