"Doctor Who" Casts Jonah Hauer-King for Next Season; Nicola Coughlan Joins Christmas Special

Some casting news from the Whoniverse panel Friday at San Diego Comic-Con.

It was announced that The Little Mermaid star Jonah Hauer-King will be joining the next season of "Doctor Who", playing a character that will be part of Ruby Sunday’s story.



Additionally, "Bridgerton‘s" Nicola Coughlan revealed she has joined the cast of the Doctor Who Christmas special.

She’ll play Joy “a determined woman whose life is changed forever when she meets the Doctor.”
