The Alice had a breakdancing episode? (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=471527) thread made me think of other 1980s sitcoms which had breakdancing in them. I know Silver Spoons, Gimme a Break! and Diff'rent Strokes had breakdancing scenes.

I did a seach on Wikipedia for breakdancing episodes and came across a Benson description.

Benson - "Take This Job and Love It" (S6 E15) - Benson takes on a mayor who plans to outlaw breakdancing in public places.

These are some other descriptions.

This one definitely sounds like a riff on Footloose.

Not a lot of quick action in here. I guess people would prefer to watch Mel breakdance rather then Miss Kraus.
