Is anyone taking any one of these? I'm taking the PSAT this year. I took it 2 yrs. ago also and did really bad. lol. I have to sign up though. The test date is on the 19 (of october)...that's just a little while away.

Not yet.. i wanna take the psat somtime this year.... they give it like once a month though so sometime later this year i will.

At my school I could take it this year but since it would'nt count, I'm gonna wait till next year when it does.

I took the PSAT's last year, I am taking them again this year and am also taking the SAT's Twice this year and then again next year

I haven't taken the PSAT or the SAT and not planning to. All the college that I'm applying to said that I only need either the ACT of SAT, and I've taken a couple ACT's so I should be fine.

I'm taking the SAT's this year. It is harder than it looks. That is why you need to study for it.

I'm probably taking the PSAT on October 15th... but I aint sure if its worth it. It's $11 to take it, but money is not the problem here. The problem is... if I do bad on it, the records will stick with me all through HS and college as well.. Don't know if I should take that kinda risk. Plus, I have never taken any tutoring on SATs, so I'm definitely not prepared for it. I know hundreds of people who have taken Kaplan and stuff like that, and they haven't done so well either.

:confused: What do you guys think... should I take it or not?

I took PSATs last yr and am taking them again this fall (oct 19th actually...lol) - SATs in the spring

I didnt too too bad last yr but not too good either- my verbal was like soooooo much higher than my math it was scary.

Jenny, TAKE THEM LOL, You can take them like three times and they only use your highest scores to send to college's ect....After 3 times, they do all weird things and take the average of the scores...I forgot what the lady said....Also, I took out a copule of books at the liabrary on them, so that might be an idea... they really telll you everything about what the test is, number of questions, everything..they just give you new ones to figur out.....

I'm taking psats on the 19th too. I've taken a SAT2 before, and I did really well on it. The sample questions were harder than the actual test (IMHO).....anyway thank god they're administering the test at my school cause I took SAT2 at Gov. Livingston...and I got soooooooooo lost on the way there...and I got there with like 30 seconds to spare before they closed the doors....so yay..

I'm taking the PSAT on October 19.

Even though we take it Junior year, I am taking it this year to see how much I will neeed to prepare over the next year
