Realize this is a bit of a long shot as to it being your first movie ever, but what do you remember?

I don't remember it, but 101 Dalmatians (the Glenn Close and Jeff Daniels live action version) was one of the first I saw in theaters. My mom says I later asked our next door neighbor if she was Cruella Devil.

The very first movie I watched in the theater was Disney's Beauty And The Beast and I don't remember getting to see it because my parents had just picked me up from school and we drove straight to the theater and I thought it was an enchanting movie and I was six when it debuted in theaters and Mom and Dad had chosen it as a surprise for me. But I enjoyed it very much

Don't remember the movie, I was 13 or 14 and do recall the young fellow I was with and how awkward we were trying to hold hands, I remember the cost of ticket, 23cents and 5cent popcorn cup....

Opus, do you forget to include yourself or skip it on purpose????? Seems to be a constant with you.

My dad and uncle took me with them to see Patton in 1970, that's the earliest one I can remember.

It was probably one of the Jaws re-releases. My family used to go the drive-in theaters pretty often. If I had to name my all-time favorite movie, it has to be Jaws.

I also remember seeing Halloween II with my brother at the library. They would let you reserve a room to watch movies on a TV. It's pretty crazy they even allowed a 8-year-old kid to watch it.

My earliest film memory was when I was about 3 and I watched The Phantom of the Opera (1925) with my dad and grandmother. I believe it was a VHS recording off of PBS and this version had background music.

My dad read aloud the male parts and my grandmother did the female parts. I was fascinated by it and it spurred my interest in horror at a young age.

I watched a lot of Disney and Looney Tunes shorts when I was younger, but I remember this being the first film that stood out.

I remember watching The Wizard of Oz when I was very young and I cried when the cowardly lion jumped out of the window in fear. I ran to my room, crying, I felt so bad for him. My mother had to come and get me and tell me the Lion was going to be okay so I went back and finished the movie. LOL
