How did stations outside the Southern United States handled the Hee Haw (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031125301/http://www.jumptheshark.com/h/heehaw.htm) syndicated package? Basically, markets were outside of Hee Haw (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Series/HeeHaw)'s audience demographics? If so, did they air it at a decent time, or did it air very late at night? Otherwise, Hee Haw (https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Hee+Haw%22&tbm=bks&tbs=bkt:s&source=newspapers) the South and parts of the Midwest, Hee Haw (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hee_Haw) would commonly air on Saturday nights at 7 eastern/6 central (on any of the big three networks or independent depending on the channel).

For many years in Pittsburgh, it occupied the 7 pm Saturday slot. Hee Haw was a top 20 show on the network, so I don't think it occupied some special southern/rural niche.

I'm from the south and we loved it. DH, a Yankee, said "he never got it".

I used to watch it regularly on Sunday afternoons, and I'm solidly in the North in a predominantly urban area.
