I remember two. One in an ep when Kelly was marrying Stewart. Another when the ex-wife herself was getting married again (not to Hayden but rather to some big nerd who was in the paint business). Were there other actresses who played Hayden's ex(thus Kelly's mother) or were these the only ones?

I think there was only one. Ive seen all of the episodes at least a couple times and cannot remember any other actress playing "Beth."

I think it was always Lenore Kasdorf who played Beth. The actress is best known for her role as Rita on Guiding Light (she aired from about 1975-81).

I just saw the early episode last night where the ex wife shows up after many years and Coach is upset because she looks great. She seemed familiar but didn't look the actress up yet.

One thing that surprises me is how Kelly seems to have vanished by the later episodes, when early on she was a major character... was she sort of written out? I notice Kelly isn;t mentioned as part of the ill fated return of Coach a few years ago.
