In 2000 Razor And Tie "Now Musicspace" launched a music collection called Teen Riot that featured all the top hits of the 80's and 90's. When you watch the commercial for Teen Riot you can understand what makes this collection a hit. Teen Riot was not only a good collection of 80's and 90's teen pop but it also gave you 80's hits you never knew about. I bet when you were a teenager you and your sister did karaoke to Stacey Q's 1986 hit Two Of Hearts or you had a crush on New Kids On The Block's Jordan Knight and you probably sang with Martika's Toy Soldier while cleaning your messy room as a teenager. There were two versions of Teen Riot but the whole double CD set could only be purchased by mail. I also have the Teen Riot collection and I never knew that hits such as Sweet Sensation's power ballad If Wishes Came True was a smash hit of 1990 or Menudo's English hit Hold Me was huge in 1985. If you can find the Teen Riot commercial you'll see what I mean when you watch it

I remember seeing the debut commercial for Teen Riot when it was announced with my mom and we were channel surfing when suddenly the commercial appeared and Mom and I were shocked at this new music collection and we decided to research more about Teen Riot and we found the single disc version. We went to Kmart and they didn't have Teen Riot so I got Teen Riot for Christmas that year and while we were cleaning my room I had Teen Riot in my stereo and Mom was surprised to hear Menudo's English hit Hold Me and she thought it was cool how Ricky Martin sounded so young. The next song we found on Teen Riot was The Jets Rocket 2U and my mom loved that song and she thought The Jets was an awesome group. If you liked hearing songs like Pebbles's hit Girlfriend and Tiffany's I Think We're Alone Now I can say that Teen Riot is an awesome collection. It may be hard to find since it's out of print and you might find it at FYE or Goodwill
