I don't want to be a buzz-kill but there's something we're forgetting here. It's all very well talking about your "obsessions" - they are fun to you, it's just a laugh. They aren't really "obsessions" - they're just things you're interested in.
IMO, obsessions are really pretty unhealthy. I used to obsessed with some people and things (who shall remain nameless) and, looking back on it, it was actually pretty scary. I totally imersed myself in these things because it took my mind off of how miserable my life was.
My life is still pretty crap but at least I'm facing up to it now instead of hiding from it. A lot of folks get obsessed with other people and they lose their grip on reality. I took it too far. I hope none of you do the same.

Honestly, I'm not obsessed with anything or anyone. I like certain things and people. I like music and tv and stuff like that. And if I watch enough tv and listen to enough music, I'll find someone who has some talent and I admire them for that talent. I collect memorabilia and I've seen two or three people in concert and thats as far as I go. I mean, I'm not like some people that I've known who totally go crazy over certain things and people. I'm just a fan. I use the word "obsess" to express my interest in something, but to be quite honest, I dont obsess. Well, at least I dont think I'm obsessed. ;)

I really do think I'm slightly obsessed with writing a good story. I put off all my other homework just to write a story that isn't due for a month. I got very mad at myself for turning in something I thought was bad.
