My husband and I viwed an early episode of HAPPY DAYS where Ritchie and Potsie were standing outside of the diner. I swear that the sign out front (above the door) said ARTHUR'S. Was the diner called ARTHUR'S before it was called ARNOLD'S??? I say yes and my HUSBAND says no. Who is right??? :happyface

In the first few eps, it was called Arthur's and was then changed to Arnold's.

Question -
Was that first episode the unused pilot that was shown as part of "Love American Style?"

Ugh..I wish they would show the Love American Style episode. Ive only seen it ONCE back in 1998 for a N@N special, and it came out really snowy on my tape for some reason.:(

In the unsold pilot (otherwise known as the Love, American Style episode), there was no Arnold's (or Arthur's). Richie and Potsie were shown at another teen "hang out" that looked completely different from Arnold's.
In the Season 2 episode "Who's Sorry Now?" scenes from the pilot are shown, and you can catch a glimpse of the place.
