View Full Version : Comfort Book... Ewan's My Man 10-04-2002, 11:13 PM Does NE1 have a book that they could read over and over again? That they can read when they are upset? Bored? Tired? Etc? Mine are "A Mother's Gift" by Britney and Lynne Spears and "Spiderman" the novel, by Peter David. Yup... OMG....I completely agree with you! I really like the Little House on the Prairie series. It's too young for me, but I read them when I was little, so it comforts me! I also really like Where The Heart Is. The movie really was an awful representation of the book, so I love reading it. Here's some of my all time comfort reading books: Flowers for Algernon- Daniel Keyes Boy Wonder: My Life in Tights- Burt Ward (That book is hilarious. Some might think it's cheesy that the book tells more about Burt's sexcapades than the Batman show. However, I still thought the book was hilarious.) The facts of life and other Lessons my father taught me by Lisa Whelchel- That book helped me realize some things that I needed to do in my life and pluse its neat to read a story about an actress who devoted her life to god.
