Mike Richards stepped down in June from his longtime role as executive producer of The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal. Next year, he'll become executive producer on Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, replacing 14-time Emmy winner Harry Friedman, who announced he will be stepping down in 2020 after overseeing Wheel since 1995 and Jeopardy! since 1997.

Mike Richards is no longer executive producer of Let's Make A Deal and The Price Is Right? I wonder how this will affect the production of both LMAD and TPIR? Because on Let's Make A Deal the LMAD gang would refer to Mike as part of the LMAD family during each episode. While it's good to see Mike Richards move from executive producing one game show to another Mike has proved that every single show he produces is one step closer to becoming game show king. I bet that Harry Friedman picked Mike Richards before he retired because Harry and Mike are probably good friends and Harry Friedman probably watches TPIR and LMAD too and so by having Mike join the Jeopardy family makes their friendship extra special. I wonder if in the future GSN will probably have Mike Richards become CEO of GSN if Mark Fieldman decides to retire because Mike Richards has done so much for GSN by hosting The Pyramid and Divided and because of this GSN might make him an offer to host a game show in the future and Mike Richards will become a Comeback Kid.
