Way before starring in Cheers the late Nickolas Colosanto was a commercial star and the very first commercial he did "though i'm sure he did other commercials before this one" was for Ajax Laundry Detergent and is from circa 1965-66. After the Stronger Than Dirt jingle plays Nickolas is seen as a policeman telling people how Ajax Laundry Detergent really gets stains out of policemen's uniforms. I was surprised that Nickolas Colosanto did commercials and I wonder if he was a policeman before being famous as an actor?
