Maybe Molly can bring her guitar and sing while Julie dances?

I don't see this happening for Julie, but I do wish her luck in her quest; t'would be neat to see Eastland represented on network TV again. :)

Bwahh! Oh, hell, no! Not that out of tune guitar again!

As for DWTS, anything is possible. Jaleel White was on, not so long ago. But she needs some support. Please like her page on FB!

Quick reminder:

Ok so The new cast was just released for DWTS and it has really motivated me to make my dream a reality. I need all the support I can get as well as the focus on seeing this through! hahahaha SO spread the word for prayers and support as I dig in and try to get to "the powers that be" and tell them they need a MOUSEKETEER represented next season on DWTS and that there is a definite audiece out there who would watch and love to see it! Here goes!!!!

What I first need from all of you is to go to all your Facebook contacts and get them to come to this page and like it. Support of social media is a very critical part nowadays to show you are a viable commodity!
Got to increase these "likes" on my page! THANK YOU!

I sure hope not! Didn't you know? Those girls do... marijuana!

But if Julie Pie gets on DWTS, I fully expect Lisa and Kim (at the very least) will appear in the audience. It could be a First Season reunion. Heck, even Helen Hunt could make an appearance.

So, Julie is moving forward with plans for Dancing With the Stars

Ok need tons of prayers and good thoughts for rest of the week. Some "irons in the fire" for moving forward with DWTS. Hoping and wishing dreams still do come true!!!! — feeling excited.

Getting Julie on DWTS could mean a cool FOL reunion on Dancing With the Stars.

I would be very surprised if she gets on. There can't be too many people outside of this site that even know who she is.

This is very true, but also, in many cases, DWTS is more like "Dancing With the...Who?"

Who is Julie Piekarski?

A 1st season regular cast member. She played Sue Ann.

Oh, yes, Sue Ann Weaver from Kansas. She's the one who went on that crazy starvation diet and passed out in the cafeteria.

Well, she's got over 1,000 followers on Facebook, and as '80s rightly says, a lot of the celebs on DWTS are people that most people have never heard of: last season included Lolo Jones, Tavis Smiley, Randy Couture, Betsey Johnson, and Bethany Mota, all people I had never heard of before DWTS. "Stars' have previously included bankrupt fashion designers, YouTube personalities, and former athletes from the 1980s. So it's not impossible. :)

Okay, I guess it's possible then. I've honestly never even watched Dancing With The Stars.

I'm not a regular watcher myself, but if Julie Pie was on, I'd watch the whole season. I bet they would have her fellow FOL castmates appear in the audience, too, as they always do for the celebs. I know Lisa and Kim at least would want to cheer her on; they've maintained their friendship with her for 35+ years. Mindy and Felice have had kind things to say about her, too.

So DWTS with Julie would be an excellent way to bring FOL back into the spotlight.

I hope it happens, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Still, it would be so cool.

My thoughts, Julie is too far back in the past. She was on tv 35 years ago and then only on one season. True there are contestants we don't know but I tend to think they have been in the public eye the last 10 years and half the country does know them. I don't watch the show. I see John O Hurley pitching computer products and am amazed how long this dancing show has lasted.

You may be right about her chances, but many of the 'stars' on DWTS are people nobody has heard of. So I'm going to stay optimistic. Also, she was a "New Mickey Mouse Club" favorite.

Sue-Ann wants to be on DWTS? Lol Yeah I really don't see this happening for her myself either. I wish her luck though and it be awesome if she could but I doubt most Americans even remotely remember who she is. One specific character from one season of a show from 30 years ago? That's kinda unusually specific.
I mean what else has she really done? I really don't know her from anything else other than the one season of Facts of Life. Something from this millennia maybe? Not even a reality show?.....something?
But hey you never know.....they've had far-less famous people on that show.

This thread makes me laugh. DWTS specializes in has-beens, not never-wases. This person is delusional if she thinks she'll even be considered. She appeared in a handful of Facts of Life episodes over 30 years ago.

I too am surprised she thinks she would even have a chance. Maybe she thinks The New Mickey Mouse Club would give her enough of a leg?
