The cast for the new season of Dancing With The Stars was announced this morning, and Danica McKellar is one of the participants. Her pro dance partner will be Val Chmerkovskiy, brother of Maks, who's back on the show after a year absence.

Danica did well on her first dance on Monday night's DWTS season premiere, earning three eights. She was very enthusiastic about being one of the competitors, saying she was a big fan of the show. I'm looking forward to seeing how she does during the season.

If you didn't see it, Danica was really great on Monday night's show. She had her four year old son Draco with her as she received her scores, and it was quite a touching moment. Her mom was in the audience, and it looked like Crystal McKellar (Becky Slater from The Wonder Years), Danica's sister, was there too.
