Ok, I always get the hiccups when I am thoroughly exhausted. Well I am getting them like, everyday, which means I'm really tired....
Anyways I have them right now and they will NOT go away. I usually eat a teaspoon of peanut-butter and that works, but I've eaten half a jar of it and they are still here!
Anyone have any good ways to stop them? I'm desperate!

Okay, I have the hiccup problem myself. I yawned yesterday and I got the hiccups. I did that twice yesterday. Anyway, this might sound a little gross to some but it works for me. Believe me, I've tried every trick in the book to get rid of hiccups. I can't hold my breath because the hiccups burst out anyway. Here's my little home remedy. Have you got any Equal sweetner in the house? Take two packets and hold the sweetner on your tongue and let it dissolve. It works some of the time.
Can you walk on your hands? Or at least stand on your head? That upsets the cart and works pretty good. If not then you just have to take two pakets of Equal Sweetner and call me in the morning... BOO!

well- i always drink a glass of water from the opposite side of the glass. (you have to tilt you head over so you kind of drink it upside down) A friend from summer stage classes told me that awhile ago and it really works even if it makes you look like an idiot.
(and i told this to someone and they got water everywhere including up their nose so maybe it does tkae a certain amount of coordination....)

I don't try to cure hiccups. I just let them run their course. The only trouble is they get really loud!

I NEED to cure the hiccups... mine aren't loud, they are silent, but all of a sudden I'll be sitting still and *jump* I'll fly 5 inches in the air. It's kind of funny if you think about it
