I just watched the newer version on HBO. Does anyone know if they are making a second one? It ended like it would be continued, but its been 2 years since it was released...

There was a talk of a sequel, but that was last year. I don't know if there is still intrest.

It wasn't the hit they expected it to be, plus alot of folks thought a remake of this sci fi classic was not the best idea.

So I don't see a sequel in the future.

Beneath the Planet of the Apes was the best Planet sequel.

I want to see the old version. I keep looking for it on tv, but it never comes on. Guess I'll have to go rent the movie.

I actually liked it. Maybe because I never saw the orginal version. The director said it wasn't a remake, it was his own perception of the book. Thats probably why fans of the org version hated it.

I've seen the original version several times and have seen the new version. It is definitely different from eachother. However, I don't hate the new movie, I just think the original is better.

I thought the remake was pretty good..I actually found it quite funny at times. I haven't seen the original.

I really need to get digital back. You guys need to see some of the stations I get. You got your home shopping networks, your food networks, spanish channels, sports channels and a bunch of other crap. The only good thing I get is TVL. I'm surprised I even get that station.

That was a good one, but I still feel Beneath was the best sequel.
