I was wondering will TV LAND celebrate the 28th birthday of Happy days in january since they celebrated The Beverly Hillibiles and the Love Boat. Or would TV LAND wait until 2004 for the 30th anniversary?

I doubt it, they probably will in 2004, when it turns 30. Hopefully they will be airing it then, they do have rights until Jan 2005.

I don't think TV Land will have any problem retaining the rights to Happy Days. If you scroll to the bottom of their webpage, it says they're owned by Viacom Intl. Viacom is the parent company of Paramount who distributed Happy Days. If they both have the same owner, there shouldn't be a problem.
