Not too long ago, I posted a message here about the 1991 death of Tommy Burkett, who's death that officials claim (very poorly) to be a suicide (depsite overwhelming evidence to the contrary). I also mentioned that there is a web site that features the case. It is called PACC. It stands for Parents Against Corruption & Cover-up.

I thought that I'd mention that I have been revisiting the web site of late, and discovered that the death of Tommy Burkett isn't the only Unsolved Mysteries case to be featured at the PACC web site. Other cases include the 1986 death of Keith Warren and the 1992 death of Shelly Malone.

You will recall that Keith Warren (of Maryland) was the one who was found hung on a rope connected to a tree in a wooded area.

Shelly Malone was the Virginia woman who was supposedly trampled by her horse. But her family has become convinced that she was murdered. In addition, her boyfriend was behaving strangely after her death. Attempts were mae to discard some of her personal effects.

That Keith Warren case was really depressing. And it's so obvious that the there is a cover up in that case, it's pathetic. How sad that a grieving mother can't even turn to the police for help.

To all the parents that formed PACC, you rock! I'm sick of hearing about police and related people covering up info and never giving the whole story. I wonder how they sleep at night. :mad:

Like you, I'm starting to wonder how those involved in covering up such cases sleep at night. They know for a fact that these "suicides" or "accidents" were actually murders. Yet they try to hide that fact, allowing the perpetrators to get away scot-free when they should be incarcerated for their evil deeds. Some of these perpetrators probably should be on death row. :mad:

Jeffery Digman is another UM case at the PACC web site. Digman was in the military, and was fatally shot at his house during Super Bowl Sunday in January of 1989. Officials ruled it a suicide, even though some inconsistencies suggest otherwise. It is believed that his death may have had something to do with an assignment that involved drug testing at a military base.

At the end of the segment, Digman's father expressed his determination to learn the truth about his son's death and why he died. He said in part: "We want to know why. And we're not going to give up until we find out why."

I just watched the Jeffery Digman case tonight. Digman's cause of death was revised to "undetermined" (something to that effect). If memory serves, the military are still standing by their original story (they believe Digman killed himself) but are open to any new evidence that would help solve the case. Sadly, this case has yet to be solved :( Despite that, I do hope Digman's family will find out what really happened to their son and why.
