Carrie Culberson went missing in Ohio on August 28, 1996. Vincent Doan was arrested and charged with her murder. She drove a Honda RX and her car and body was never found. There was no DNA, but the jurors found him guilty and sentenced him to life. I was thinking I saw it on um a few years back, but I can't seem to find anything on here about it.

I am not sure it was on there. I remember seeing it just shortly after his trial. I just assumed it was on um because it is the only show that I really remember watching all of the time.

There is no doubt in my mind that he killed her. Sorry just would make no sense for her to disappear for no reason. He's story sounds fishy as does his movements in the days following. I believe the right man is in jail for this.

I don't think it was on UM. I've been reading up on this case and I have no recollection of it being profiled.

That being said, the boyfriend is as guilty as sin, at least in my opinion. I see the defense tried to hang their hat on the fact that there was no body, but I think there was some pretty compelling evidence that they were able to hide her body once the family got the tip-off from law enforcement that Doan was the prime suspect.

It wasn't. Someone recently asked the Official Unsolved Mysteries Facebook page if the show had ever featured the Carrie Culberson case and the answer was no.

It sounds like the author of the article is miffed that Doan is getting $7500. In my eyes, it's peanuts. They threw him the small amount to shut him up. He'll likely spend it on crap in the commissary. It's certainly not enough for plastic surgery or anything of that nature.
