Over the last 2 decades, many characters have joined Leia to represent other demographics in the Star Wars universe. Regardless of what I think of these characters individually, I wanted to highlight some of the most prominent examples in the Canon story and express my appreciation for what has been done so far.
This is not a ranking list of my favorites, nor is it meant to be comprehensive. It's just a list of 12 characters that I wanted to talk a bit about. Feel free to discuss these and whichever others you'd like to down in the comments, but please be civil.
