I saw Mama's Family for the first time on CMT's late night block tonight. Ken Berry looked a lot older in the few years since The Cat from Outer Space.

I think by the final season of Mama's Family Ken Berry would have been approaching 60, even though he was playing 45ish. I know in one episode he was mentioned as being 45

Yes, Ken Berry would have been 56 or 57 when the last episode was filmed. I always thought he was intended to be younger than his actual age, Betty White was meant to be much younger and Carol Burnett about the same age.

I remember in the episodes when Bubba had the Bone Crusher band stay at the house, one of the girls referred to Vint as "Grandpa" lol it actually looked fitting lol I thought Vint was getting that "grandpa" look

Yeah, I believe when Mama’s Family started, Vinton was supposed to be 40, Eunice was supposed to be 42, and Ellen was about 45.
