Judging from the information that I read at the Forensic Files web site (forensicfiles.com), it looks to me that the show will be airing an episode about the murder of Dorothy Donovan. The FF web site doesn't mention Dorothy Donovan (or her son Charles Holden) by name, but the details given were an indication that the upcoming episode "Stranger In the Night" is about that case.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the case, Dorothy Donovan was found stabbed to death in her Delaware home in 1991. Her son, Charles Holden, told the cops about a hitchhiker he had picked up that night, but soon ditched when the man became violent. Soon afterwards, Charles spotted the man walking in the direction to Dorothy's residence. The cops were understandably suspicious of that story, until evidence found at the crime scene excluded Charles as the perpetrator.

The UM segment originally aired at the end of the 1994-95 season. Years later, a man named Gilbert Cannon was linked to the murder through DNA. He is currently in prison for the crime, serving a life sentence.

The FF episode is scheduled to air at 9:00 pm (Eastern Time) on Friday, December 19. Don't miss it!

This UM segment always creeped me out, even though the perp looked like Urkel.

Yes, this segment was creepy as hell; Forensic Files will make sure to ruin that. Sorry, but that show is just so poorly written. "Could her husband have killed her for the life insurance money?" (commercial break).

No *****!!

Although Forensic Files is on numerous times each week, it might occasionally be at least a couple of months before a certain episode is shown again (which, of course, is very common with TV shows). It would be wise to check the Trutv schedule frequently, as it lists two weeks worth of scheduling. That way, when the episode is listed on the schedule, you should have enough notice to plan to see it.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the episode is titled "Stranger in the Night."

I actually like Forensic Files and would very much like to see that episode.

What I find so amazing about UM is the research for which cases should be produced. They did an awesome job because the stories are so unusual and really mysterious.
