I find that the Mr. Bellding character was very dull and unfunny during the Jr. High season. Of the 4 characters that would make the jump from JFK Jr High to Bayside, Mr. Bellding is the one who changed the most. The other 3 characters were very much unchanged though Zack obvicous changed a little going from supporting character to lead character.

But the only funny moment Bellding had that year was when he got his hand glued to a telephone and even that I don't find that very funny compaired to some of the latter real funny stuff they would do to him at Bayside.

I agree. It seemed like the only thing Mr. Belding did was praise Miss Bliss. There was a funny moment in the first episode of the high school episodes, in which Belding is trying a different approach with Zack. When he put the pipe in his mouth and starts talking, it's funny to hear him mutter. I was watching a tape I found from "The New Class" and Mr. Belding was just weird.
Also, on the topic of Mr. Belding, in the Time Capsule episode, that never really happened, since it's set in 2003, and Belding retired in the 2000 finale.

And also one thing that helps is that the High School episodes had those fantasy sequences (when the screen has a pink frame) which the Jr High episode did not. It was funny to see him as a butler, limo driver, etc.

I also found funny the time he was looking for someone to date his niece and Slater imagened him as a woman and also when they made him Miss December in the Girls of Bayside calender. And when they flashback to him as a teenager being a DJ on Bayside radio with hair and mustase talking like a hippie.
