I was shocked to see very little commercials promoting 4th Of July this year and I would like to know if 4th Of July has been underrated for commercials each year? Because it used to be that 4th Of July was the big holiday of July and they would show patriotic themed commercials and it was great promotion to advertise 4th Of July. But from what commercials I saw that promoted 4th Of July it was mostly sales and car companies such as Toyota and Jeep advertised 4th Of July sales and so it tells me that cars are the number one seller of 4th Of July sales because summer is when anybody buys new cars. The only commercials I saw that seemed to be the huge moneymakers are supermarket commercials advertising 4th Of July sales for 4th Of July barbecues and food. Has 4th Of July commercials started to become scarce to find on TV now?

I think why we didn't see very many 4th Of July commercials this year is because when they did have 4th Of July commercials they focused on sales for cars and furniture because I think 4th Of July is when people buy those items but this year the in furniture that sold during 4th Of July was mattresses and in the home sales were barbecues and barbecue sets and in the supermarket commercials they were promoting sales on hot dogs and fruit and steaks so it tells me that this is what 4th Of July commercials are now each year. I remember when 4th Of July was big like Halloween and Christmas and they would show patriotic themed commercials but it's a shock you don't see them around on TV every July and now they focus on 4th Of July sales commercials instead

Hl Hawkee, I think campaniles are afraid to be patriotic anymore. Someone might try to hurt them fpr it. It is sad today that so many are ashamed of being American. I also wish there were more 4th of July commercials. Maybe next year.

Maybe becaue there is nothing to celebrate... Thats how I feel........

People have destroyed this country and its not worth celebrating in my opinion...
