This is not good news for the In-Laws...

Opposite another week of back-to-back episodes of NBC's
In-Laws (8 p.m. #3: 6.4/10, 8:30 p.m. #4: 7.1/10), ABC held a 38
percent advantage. Compared to its first two episodes last
Tuesday (8 p.m. #3: 7.1/11, 8:30 p.m. #2: 8.5/12), In-Laws was off
by an average of 13 percent.

What I really wanna know is what they're gonna do with this show. Hopefully, they'll move it to 9:30 after Frasier sometime. Tonight, you will see that the 930 showing will get much better ratings than the 830. Hopefully, that'll help those bozos at NBC to move it. HH is much more like JSM, and In-Laws is much more like Frasier.

This is how the Tuesday NBC schedule should be. This way the good shows get the better ratings, and bad get the worse:

8:00 - Hidden Hills
8:30 - Just Shoot Me
9:00 - Frasier
9:30 - In-Laws

That way....Hidden Hills would get killed by JAG and 8SR. Just Shoot Me would get some of 8SR's viewers, although still having competition from JAG. Frasier gets the same nice ratings, while In-Laws takes about 90-95% of Frasier's audience to their timeslot. That way, Hidden Hills dies, JSM gets better ratings (although they still stink), Frasier gets the same, while In-Laws get a large boost.

In-Laws shouldn't be killed just because it's after a ratings loser. In-Laws takes 100% of JSM's audience, and then takes in even more. Frasier is at least the highest rated NBC show that night, and sometimes the highest rated sitcom. With In-Laws after that, it could be getting much better ratings than HH. NBC would be veeeery happy.
