Perhaps you remember seeing this commercial growing up in the 40's with this popular jingle. It's because this is the very first Chiquita Bananas commercial that debuted in the 40's and was later done in a color version in the 50's. This commercial was an animated commercial that featured the Chiquita Banana singing the jingle above and there was an extended version of this commercial and this commercial was also part of a series of Chiquita Banana commercials that were in a cartoon format and are a true collector's item for any commercial fan. It's hard to believe that the newer Chiquita Bananas commercials shown have a new remix of the jingle and Chiquita Banana herself is computer animated in these new commercials. I always thought this commercial was wonderful and believe it or not I still eat Chiquita Bananas today. Oh, Maybe i'll have a banana myself for breakfast tomorrow after writing this thread "LOL"
