If it’s the same Gatorland I know, the one near Palmdale, FL, it’s less than a 100 mile/2 hour drive north on US Highway 27.
I am 4 miles from Everglades Holiday Park, with airboat tours where one can see gators in the water close up. And, one can hold a baby gator with proper instructions. I did so, long ago.
Out on US Highway 41 westward outta Miami, there are many tourist traps where gators are the norm. The Miccosukee Indian Village is a big area there. All a very short drive for yours truly. 🐊

I saw a 1950's promo film for LA and they mention that there is a gator park there !
