Even though I love being in the mountains, I like going to the beach too. Something about hearing the water hitting the sand and walking the boardwalk at night. I don't go as much as I'd like though.

Both are beautiful, hard to decide which I like better ? I always kind of lived in the best of them both. In Philly we had the mountains west of us and the Jersey shore to the east. And out here in LA both mountains and beaches are just a drive away !:);)

Definitely the mountains even though (or maybe because) I grew up within walking distance of the beach.

There are both where I live. I would probably pick the beach. Sand, ocean, views, mountains in the distance.

Love both. We live a very short drive to the mountains, but we try to go to the Oregon Coast as much as possible, and lake beaches as well.
