In the 2000's FOX developed an odd concept for a reality show. The show which would allow people to play matchmaker to couples of strangers via telephone and the couples of strangers chosen by the people would get to meet and get married. The show's name was Married By America and upon it's debut recieved terrible ratings and I cannot figure out how FOX came up with this weird yet odd reality show. I guess FOX was destined to get more ratings and they had hoped this show would do well. Married By America lasted one season but is considered a one-hit wonder of FOX's weakest reality shows
