When I was listening to music I found Annie Lennox's second solo album Medusa and it was my very first Annie Lennox album that I got. What Medusa is a covers album and Annie Lennox really surprised me with her talents with these covers and I always wanted to know what inspired Annie to do this album? The big hits from this album were No More I Love You's which Nicki Minaj sampled in her first single Your Love "and that song is why I like Nicki Minaj" and Annie's marvelous cover of A Whiter Shade Of Pale. It seems that Medusa was well-liked by critics when it debuted in 1995 and was this album a huge step for Annie Lennox?

Who was the group that sang No More I Love You's before Annie Lennox covered it? I remember when No More I Love You's was the first single from Medusa and it was heard everywhere in stores to radio and MTV would play the video all the time. I was also surprised that Annie Lennox covered Take Me To The River and the way she covered it was amazing and I didn't know that it was originally an Al Green song because the first time I heard it was with the Big Mouth Billy Bass singing fish in infomercials
