"Friends" Themed Experience Sets Up Permanent Home in London – Global Bulletin

The Friends Experience is set to open in a purpose-built location at London’s ExCel center this summer ahead of the show’s 30th anniversary this year.

The experience features full-scale recreations of the show’s sets, from Monica and Rachel’s apartment to the infamous “Pivot!” scene complete with couch, as well as costumes, backdrops, props and memorabilia. Guests can recreate some of their favorite on-screen moments and enjoy themed food and drinks as well as exclusive merch.

It has been created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, Original X Productions and Warner Bros. Television Group and is operated by U.K.-based The Luna Entertainment Group.

The attraction is opening in the midst of the 25th anniversary of Friends' Las Vegas episodes, when Ross and Rachel drunkenly got married.

Central Perk to Open Permanent New York City Location

“Friends” fans can now get a cup of joe inspired by their favorite sitcom — in the city where it takes place.

After several pop-ups, Central Perk will open its first permanent location in New York’s Times Square on the northeast corner of 7th Ave and 47th St. The coffeehouse is a “modern-day version” of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe’s cozy hangout spot.




Launching in Fall 2025, the café promises artisanal coffee drinks and Friends-inspired food items guided by “Top Chef” judge and James Beard Award winner Tom Colicchio.

Central Perk will include a replica of the orange sofa, merchandise and take-home coffee blends available for purchase. This marks the second permanent Central Perk, which opened in Boston in 2023.





“Central Perk is one of the most iconic landmarks in television history. After the incredible response in Boston, bringing Central Perk to Times Square isn’t just the next step — it’s a homecoming,” said Peter van Roden, EVP of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, in a statement to Variety.

“This is about delivering an experience in the heart of Manhattan, where the story began, and letting fans from around the world step into a space that’s both nostalgic yet freshly reimagined. There’s no better place than New York City to celebrate the legacy of ‘Friends’ and to continue building on the connection fans feel with Central Perk.”
