What are some TV characters we never saw? the only 2 i can think of right now is

I can't think of any more on sitcoms but Charlie on Charlies Angels and Robin on Magnum PI were never seen. We were supposed to see Pegs mom on married with children but the person who was supposed to play her died the day they were supposed to film the show. I think the gooch was seen on different strokes once. It was way into the last season (when it went to ABC) and Sam was dealing with the bully that Arnold dealt with before. The running joke the whole show was...he is still there? Actually it was a pretty lame episode but lots of those last ones were. I only know because NAN ran the show when they had the different strokes marathon last winter.

i thought of another, Chris's Mother, from Kenan and Kel

Peg's mom was heard, but not seen. The character whose original actor died was Uncle Otto, who was to be played by the obese drag queen Divine (uncharacteristically playing a male role), who died of a heart attack on March 7, 1988. The role was filled by another (much thinner) actor.

This was Lorenzo Music, who did many character voices including Garfield the cat and Vince the crashtest dummy.

im surprised no one has mentioned Snake Robinson from The Facts of Life, granted he was shown a few times for a while he was talked about but not seen.

Did we ever see the Powell's dad on Charles in Charge? Last nights episode came close, but alas his ship (from the Navy) did not come in at the last minute.

Also, what about Salem the cat shown as a person on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I seem to recall a flashback or something where he was shown in his younger days.

Yes, Salem was shown in an ep once as a person ploting a take over.

Was the person shown as Salem, the actual voice of Salem?

You would think that it would be the person who does the voice, but I dont think so.

Ok, on one of yesterday's episodes of Charles in Charge, we did actually see the Powells dad. It was the episode entitled, "No Nukes Is Good Nukes". I'm not sure, but that might be the only episode we see Mr. Powell.
